I made you look here just by typing this text in here.
It's a very honest effort altogether, but there is one very glaring issue in it that sticks out to me the most, and that it's the faces look too squished to inwards. This is more evident with Chitori when compared to how she appeared in TTGL where she (and most of the cast) had more "depth", if you wish to call it that, in their faces. It's very possible it's also due to that you drew in long faces (chin going way too low for Chitori plus it gives her a boyish complexion; Proto Man... not so much.) and thick necks (again, moreso for Chitori, who is a pretty bony character).
The characters aren't as rounded-out as one would hope, as if this was a a rushed drawing and not enough time went into refining the rough areas. This shows to me the most in their feet, which look flatter than other areas of the pic. There characters both need more shading applied to where it is already.
The rest of the issues in the pic are relatively minor for the time being (such as the BG), but I'll get into those if you like.

(insert witty comment here)
As forthe faces, I ardly ever worked on anime faces before, but I'll work on making the faces less "squished" as you put it, and make nicer looking chins.
I will also looking into roughing out edges in next drawings... Although I don't understand the shading comment.
